La Fête Alcohol Service Policy Contract
To serve alcohol at La Fête, the renter must first review, sign, and agree to comply with the following alcohol service policies. These policies are designed to ensure legal compliance, promote guest safety, and protect the integrity of the venue.
By signing this agreement, the renter accepts full responsibility for all aspects of alcohol service during their event, including adherence to applicable laws, oversight of guest behavior, and enforcement of venue-specific rules.
Fees and Insurance
Pay the Alcohol Service Fee & Damage Deposit
Purchase the “Day Of Event” Insurance Package from La Fête.
Compliance and Responsibility
Comply with all city, state, and federal laws and regulations related to the service and consumption of alcohol.
Assume full responsibility and liability for the service of alcoholic beverages.
Ensure all guests consuming alcohol are of legal drinking age; IDs must be checked.
Service Conditions
Only the Renter may supply alcoholic beverages; no outside or personal alcohol is permitted.
Self-serve alcohol is strictly prohibited.
No shots may be served after 8:00 PM.
Alcohol service must end by 9:00 PM or after a maximum of 3 hours, whichever is sooner.
Alcohol may not be taken outside the designated indoor rental area.
Alcohol must not be made available to the general public or advertised in any way.
Prohibited Sales
No fee, donation, or ticket may be charged for alcohol or event attendance. This includes admission fees, suggested donations, or any form of compensation.
Bartender Requirements
Provide the name, contact information, and proof of licensure for a bartender certified to serve alcohol in Utah.
The bartending service must provide at least one properly attired security person as part of their service policy.
Safety and Enforcement
Unruly or threatening behavior will be managed per the standard event contract.
La Fête staff reserves the right to stop alcohol service to any guest at any time.
Any guest violating the alcohol policy will be asked to leave immediately. If they refuse, local authorities will be contacted.
La Fête staff reserves the right to shut down any event where alcohol contributes to a dangerous or threatening situation.
Monitoring and Access
The Renter must be present at all times and is responsible for monitoring alcohol service and guest behavior.
La Fête staff and/or law enforcement may enter the event at any time to monitor alcohol-related activities.
Liability
The Renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless La Fête from any claims, actions, or damages arising from the event, including those related to alcohol service.
Damages
The Renter is responsible for any damages caused by guests that exceed the deposit amount.
Violation of these policies may result in forfeiture of all or part of the deposit.
Acknowledgment
I have received, read, and reviewed the La Fête Alcohol Policy Contract. I understand and agree to the conditions above. I acknowledge that failure to comply will result in prohibition of alcohol service at my event.202
