Wedding Venues in Provo
A Utah Valley Guide
The Venue Decision Is Almost as Important as the Temple
Proximity Isn't a Nice-to-Have.
It Changes the Day.
When your venue is far from the temple, the middle of your wedding disappears. You finish your sealing, spend an hour on portraits, load everyone into cars, and by the time you arrive at your reception, your guests have been waiting, and your florist has been calling.
When your venue is within walking distance, that problem simply doesn't exist. Non-attending guests walk over and are welcomed. You arrive unhurried, present, and actually able to enjoy the reception you spent months planning.
The Provo City Center Temple is our favorite and the closest temple to La Fete. It is surrounded by brick facades, iron lampposts, and historic architecture that photographs like a European city street. Your portraits don't have to happen in a parking lot.
Four Things That Actually Matter
01
Real Walking Distance
"Near the temple" is used loosely in Utah wedding marketing. Anything within a 10-minute walk changes the feel of the day. Anything that requires a car is the same logistical challenge as any other Utah County venue.
02
A Venue That Gets It
Sealing days have a specific rhythm. Your venue assistant should understand how that timing flows around the typical LDS wedding day— not just run a generic event template that does not consider sealing expectations, family and our timelines.
03
A Proper Bridal Suite
Close venue = you can get ready there before walking to the temple. That only works if the bridal suite is actually worth spending a few hours in.
04
Aesthetic Continuity
You just left one of the most beautiful buildings in Utah County. Your reception space should feel like a continuation — not a tonal restart.
Venues in the heart of Utah County
01 La Fête Wedding & Event Venue
Closest Full-Service Venue
120 N University Ave, Provo · 4-minute walk from the temple
La Fête is the only French-inspired full-service venue in Utah County — and at a four-minute walk up University Ave, the closest dedicated reception venue to the Provo City Center Temple. The ~4,000 sq ft ballroom seats up to 170 with 18 tables and 180 chairs included. The bridal suite is available from your booking start time, so couples regularly get ready here before walking to their sealing.
Kennedy, the in-house florist with 12+ years of experience, operates her studio in the same building. She designs for the specific light and scale of the space — your florals are built for the exact room they'll live in. A dedicated venue attendant is on-site throughout every event.

Absolutely. The package is designed to cover the essentials so you have less to coordinate — but you are always welcome to bring in your own caterer, photographer, or any other vendor. We have a preferred vendor list if you need recommendations.
-
Florals are not included in the base package, but as a Fête Complète guest you receive a small discount when you work with our in-house florist. It's one of the easiest ways to add something beautiful to your day without adding stress.
-
Moving chairs, adjusting tables, and preparing the space so it's ready for your next event. The $150 transition fee is included in the package at no extra charge.

Earlier than most couples expect. Utah Valley is one of the highest-density wedding markets in the country — the LDS temple culture means a very high percentage of 20-somethings are planning weddings simultaneously, all competing for the same small window of popular dates. La Fête's Saturday evenings in May through October regularly book 6–12 months out. The safest approach: identify your temple date first, then secure your venue immediately — before you book the photographer, the caterer, or anything else. The venue date is the fixed point that every other vendor coordinates around. Waiting until spring to book a June wedding is a real risk in this market.
-
Parking downtown is easy — and free. La Fête is on University Ave, with 15 spaces adjacent to the building and two public parking structures: the Zion Bank Parking Structure and the Wells Fargo Public Parking. Your guests arriving from anywhere in the valley can find a spot within a couple of minutes. We let every couple know the parking options as part of their pre-event coordination so they can include it in guest communications.
