The Prettiest 2027 Wedding Dates for a Provo Wedding

Some dates just feel right. They look lovely on an invitation, they're easy for guests to remember, and they give you an anniversary you'll never forget.

Note: Many Utah brides plan their weddings just 3–4 months out, so if you're already looking at 2027 dates, you're ahead of the game, which will mean easier bookings for your photographers, caterers, and even the venue. Plus those prime mid-morning temple sealing times are probably still open.

If you're newly engaged and dreaming about 2027, félicitations! Here are the dates our couples are already asking about, a few to think twice about, and how to line your venue up with your temple date.

The 2027 Dates Everyone's Asking About

The Lucky Sevens

2027 has a 7 built in, so any date with another 7 in it is going to be popular.

  • Wednesday, July 7, 2027 (7.7.27): the "triple seven" date. It falls midweek, which means weekday pricing and a story your guests will never forget.

  • Saturday, July 17, 2027 (7.17.27): the Saturday sevens date, and probably the most requested date of the year. If this one is yours, don't wait.

  • Tuesday, July 27, 2027 (7.27.27): more sevens for the romantics, at a weekday price.

  • Saturday, August 7, 2027 (8.7.27): a late-summer Saturday that still reads "7" on every invitation.

Pretty on Paper

No sevens required. These dates simply look beautiful written in calligraphy.

  • Saturday, February 13, 2027: Valentine's weekend, the night before the big day itself. Candlelight, velvet and blush.

  • Saturday, February 27, 2027 (2.27.27): clean, symmetrical, and perfect for a cozy winter reception.

  • Thursday, May 27, 2027 (5.27.27): the start of the season, with a 27 that matches the year.

  • Saturday, June 26, 2027: a classic June wedding, with the long evening light June is famous for.

  • Friday, August 27, 2027 (8.27.27): a Friday-night party with a date that echoes the year.

  • Saturday, October 9, 2027: golden autumn light, and our favorite season for portraits on the historic downtown streets.

  • Wednesday, October 27, 2027 (10.27.27): a fall weekday wedding with a matching 27.

  • Friday, December 17, 2027: twinkle lights, candles, and a little holiday magic.

Dates Built Around BYU and UVU Graduation

Utah County runs on the school calendar. When finals end and diplomas are in hand, the wedding calendar fills up fast, especially in late April and May. If you, your fiancé, or your siblings are students, these dates give everyone room to breathe:

  • Saturday, April 24, 2027 (4.24.27): the first Saturday after BYU's winter finals and commencement. Diplomas on Thursday, sealing on Saturday. Expect this one to go early.

  • Saturday, May 8, 2027: the day after UVU wraps up commencement and convocations. It's also the day before Mother's Day, which makes for a sweet weekend with family already gathered.

  • Saturday, May 15, 2027: both campuses are finished, out-of-town family has had a week to recover from graduation travel, and Memorial Day crowds are still two weeks away.

  • Saturday, August 14, 2027: the first Saturday after BYU's summer term finals. A perfect late-summer date before fall semester starts.

  • Saturday, December 18, 2027: UVU finals end December 10 and BYU finals end December 16, so both schools are out. Pair it with the holidays and let family make one trip for both. (Want a Friday? December 17 is the day after BYU finals and already on our Pretty on Paper list.)

Why a Weekday Date Is Worth a Look

Several of the prettiest 2027 dates fall midweek, and that's good news for your budget. At La Fête, a weekday (Monday–Thursday) reception from 4–10 PM is $2,300, compared with $2,990 on a Friday or Saturday. An all-day weekday rental is $2,850, compared with $3,990 on the weekend. Our all-inclusive Fête Complète package is $4,300 on a weekday and $5,300 on a weekend.

Those savings can go toward the things guests remember most: the food, the flowers and the photos. Your closest people will make the time.

Dates to Think Twice About

None of these are off-limits, but they're worth a second look before you print anything.

  • Easter weekend: Saturday, March 27, 2027 is the day before Easter Sunday (March 28). Many families already have plans.

  • General Conference weekends: Conference is typically held the first weekend of April and October, which would be April 3–4 and October 2–3, 2027. [Fritz: confirm once the Church announces the 2027 dates.]

  • Graduation days themselves: BYU commencement is Thursday, April 22, with convocations April 22–23. UVU commencement and convocations run May 5–7. Families are already committed, and Provo hotels fill quickly. Plan your celebration for the weekend after instead.

  • Memorial Day weekend: May 29–31, 2027. It's great for travel time, but many guests have trips planned.

  • Pioneer Day: Saturday, July 24, 2027. Parades, fireworks and family traditions fill Utah calendars that day.

  • Labor Day weekend: September 4–6, 2027.

  • Thanksgiving weekend: November 25–28, 2027. Saturday 11.27.27 looks pretty, but your guests may be full of pie and travel plans.

  • Sundays and Mondays: temples don't hold sealings on Sundays and are typically closed Mondays. If you're planning a traditional wedding ceremony, both days work. La Fête is usually closed on Sundays, so reach out and we'll check availability.

One more tip: temples close periodically for cleaning and maintenance. Before you fall in love with a date, check the Provo City Center Temple's schedule (or your temple's) directly.

Book in This Order: Temple, Then Venue

Utah Valley is one of the busiest wedding markets in the country. A huge share of couples plan around the same temples, the same seasons and the same handful of Saturdays. Even though many couples plan just a few months ahead, at La Fête, Saturday evenings from May through October regularly book 6–12 months out.

So here's the order we recommend:

  1. Confirm your sealing date and time with the temple.

  2. Lock in your venue right away, before the photographer, caterer or anything else. The venue date is the fixed point every other vendor builds around.

  3. Build out the rest of your team. Every La Fête booking includes complimentary wedding planning, so you'll have a dedicated planner to help with vendors, timelines and the floor plan.

Why the Venue's Distance From the Temple Matters

La Fête sits at 120 N University Ave, a four-minute walk from the Provo City Center Temple. That changes the shape of the whole day:

  • Get ready in our bridal suite, then walk up University Ave to your sealing.

  • After family photos on the temple grounds, take portraits on the brick-and-iron streets of historic downtown Provo.

  • Your guests can settle in at La Fête while you finish photos. There are no shuttles and no 30-minute drive between the temple and your celebration.

If you're planning a luncheon after the sealing, our luncheon block (10 AM–2 PM) is $1,700 on weekdays and $2,300 on Fridays and Saturdays. If you want a luncheon and an evening reception, an all-day rental or the Fête Complète (11 hours, 11 AM–10 PM) keeps everything under one roof. See a full sample timeline on our temple wedding page.

How to Hold Your 2027 Date at La Fête

  1. Tour first. Tours are free, take about 45 minutes and come with no pressure. You'll walk the ballroom, see the bridal suite and get straight answers on pricing and availability.

  2. After your tour, we'll send your contract and hold your date for two days while you decide.

  3. Can't tour yet? A $500 non-refundable retainer holds your date for one week before your visit. If you book, it goes toward your balance.

  4. Once you book, the date is yours. There are no hold lists and no waiting period.

Before you share a date with your family group chat, check it with us. Popular 2027 Saturdays are already getting inquiries.
