The Location Advantage

Four Minutes.

One Seamless Day

Most Utah County couples spend the middle hours of their wedding day in transit — loading into cars, waiting for stragglers, losing golden-hour light to a 30-minute drive between temple and venue.

La Fête sits four minutes from the Provo City Center Temple on foot. That proximity isn't a convenience — it restructures your entire day. You finish your sealing, your photographer walks you through the historic downtown streetscape for portraits, and your guests are already settling in at the venue before the light changes. And P.S. Most temples have one or two good sides for photos. The Provo City Center Temple has four. 📸

No shuttles. No anxious texts. And parking is genuinely not a problem — La Fête is surrounded by metered street parking on University Ave and Center Street, plus two public parking structures within a one-block walk that are free on weekends and evenings. Your guests coming from across the valley can find a spot in minutes, not circles.

It's one of the underrated advantages of a central downtown location: the infrastructure is already built. You don't have to solve parking for 150 people — the city already did.

A Note on Booking Timing

Utah Valley has more weddings per capita than almost anywhere in the country — and it shows in how fast venues fill up. La Fête's Saturday dates for peak season (May–October) typically book 6–12 months in advance. If you have a temple date in mind, lock in your venue first. Availability is the anchor that everything else is built around.

Why it Matters

Three things that will change when your venue is this close

01

Your Photos Are Genuinely Different

The Provo City Center Temple has four beautifully finished, architecturally distinct sides — which means your photographer can rotate family groups and never repeat an angle. Most photographers shooting in Utah are accustomed to two viable sides on a temple. Here, they get four. Add in the brick-and-iron character of historic downtown, and your portrait session looks nothing like anyone else's from this year.

02

Your Timeline Actually Works

A 4-minute walk means the window between sealing and reception stays intact. You're not compressing your portrait session to catch a shuttle, and your guests aren't standing around for 45 minutes wondering when things will start. When venue and temple are this close, the natural rhythm of the day holds — and everyone feels it.

03

Your Guests Are at Ease

For family members who've traveled in from out of town, downtown Provo is easy to navigate. The venue is walkable from the temple and surrounded by parking. There's no multi-stop logistics puzzle to solve. When your guests arrive without stress, the energy in the room is different — and you'll feel the difference before the first dance even starts.

Why it Matters

What your day looks

The Venue as Centerpiece

An Elegant Ballroom

designed for your day

La Fête's 4,000 sq ft ballroom was designed to serve Utah County's temple wedding couples specifically. The French-inspired aesthetic — herringbone floors, arched details, picture-frame moldings, and warm lighting — pairs beautifully with the formal elegance of a sealing day.

Unlike industrial spaces or barn venues that impose their aesthetic on your event, La Fête is a refined canvas. Your florals, your dress, and your family's personalities set the tone. The room supports the story rather than telling it.

Every rental includes

  • 4,000 sq ft main ballroom — up to 250 guests

  • 18 tables + 200 elegant chairs, pre-set to your layout

  • Bridal suite for getting-ready

  • Party Room - wedding party lounge

  • Three 55-inch Frame TVs for slideshows

  • Dedicated venue coordinator on-site all day

  • Full setup and breakdown at no extra charge

  • ADA-accessible restrooms + full catering kitchen

  • An in-house florist is available for your event

  • Preferred vendor list — or bring your own

In House Florist

Meet Kennedy

Your flowers, already here

Kennedy brings 12+ years of professional floral design experience to every La Fête wedding — and she works out of the venue itself, which changes everything about how your florals are planned.

Most couples work with a florist who's never seen their venue in natural light, never watched how the room fills with guests, and never noticed that the morning sun hits the east windows differently than the afternoon. Kennedy has seen all of it, hundreds of times. She designs your bouquets, ceremony arch, and centerpieces with the specific space in mind — not a generic vision of it.

It also means one fewer vendor contract, one fewer coordination call, and one fewer person to brief on the day-of details. La Fête couples consistently cite the seamlessness of the Kennedy experience as one of the reasons their day felt effortless.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes — La Fête was intentionally sited in downtown Provo with the LDS temple wedding market in mind.
We're four minutes on foot from the Provo City Center Temple, and our day structure, bridal suite setup, and coordination approach are all calibrated around how an LDS sealing day flows. The vast majority of our couples are planning temple sealings.

  • The Provo City Center Temple grounds are beautiful and well-kept — family members who aren't attending the sealing typically wait outside on the grounds, which are landscaped and comfortable. Because La Fête is just a 4-minute walk away, some families also opt to send guests directly to the venue while the sealing party is inside. Our on-site attendant is there to receive and welcome them.

  • Your rental begins at your booked start time — typically in the morning for a full-day event. Your bridal suite is available from that start time so you can arrive, get ready, and depart for the temple from La Fête. We build our day structure around the sealing-reception flow, not a generic event schedule.

  • Absolutely. La Fête accommodates ring ceremonies and receptions fully. We can configure the ballroom for a ceremony-to-reception transition, and our team coordinates the layout change seamlessly. We probably do 40% of our temple weddings with an accompanying ring ceremony. Just let us know your vision when you tour.

  • Earlier than most couples expect. Utah Valley is one of the highest-density wedding markets in the country — the LDS temple culture means a very high percentage of 20-somethings are planning weddings simultaneously, all competing for the same small window of popular dates. La Fête's Saturday evenings in May through October regularly book 6–12 months out. The safest approach: identify your temple date first, then secure your venue immediately — before you book the photographer, the caterer, or anything else. The venue date is the fixed point that every other vendor coordinates around. Waiting until spring to book a June wedding is a real risk in this market.

  • Parking downtown is easy — and free. La Fête is on University Ave, with 15 spaces adjacent to the building and two public parking structures: the Zion Bank Parking Structure and the Wells Fargo Public Parking. Your guests arriving from anywhere in the valley can find a spot within a couple of minutes. We let every couple know the parking options as part of their pre-event coordination so they can include it in guest communications.

  • Yes. We work with temple wedding couples routinely and understand the sealing scheduling process, typical sealing session durations, and how to build a realistic timeline around them. When you tour with us, we'll walk through the day together and make sure the timeline actually works — not just looks good on paper.

Transparent Pricing

No Surprises,

No hidden fees

Tours are free, last about 45 minutes, and are the best way to understand how La Fête will work for your specific day. You'll walk the ballroom, see the bridal suite, meet Kennedy, and get honest answers about pricing and availability — no pressure, no pitch.

Peak season availability

Saturday dates in May–October fill 6–12 months out in Utah Valley. If you have a temple date or season in mind, it's worth checking now rather than after you've started telling people the date.
